Fabric sourcing has gotten so slow with global suppliers, I miss the quick turnarounds from local places.

lol yeah the "quick turnarounds" thing is real. It's wild how waiting on a global shipment for weeks can totally kill your creative momentum on a project.

Ever wonder if those forced breaks from waiting, like taylorgreen mentioned, actually make you overthink the project? You might come back after three weeks and want to change everything you planned, not because it's bad, but because your brain had too much empty time to cook up new ideas. That gap can totally shift what you wanted to make.

That "kill your creative momentum" idea applies to more than just projects. I see it with everyday decisions too, where a delay turns a simple choice into a big overthought mess. Our brains just love to complicate things when given extra time, don't they?

Ugh, tell me about it. I had to wait for a client to send feedback once and by the time they did, I'd reworked the whole concept in my head three times. It just makes everything feel messy and unsure.
