DAE hit exactly 10,000 pounds of aluminum poured in a single shift?
The foreman said it was a record, but I think we just got lucky with the furnace timing. Anyone else have a number that seemed too perfect to be random?

What if the scale was just rounding up?

My scale at home does that too, @kim_ramirez3, just like my phone's battery percentage.

We had a batch of copper come out at 5,000 pounds exactly last quarter. The whole crew just looked at each other, nobody believed it for a second. I'm with Nathan on the software thing, it feels like those numbers get a little help on the backend. Management loves a clean report so much they'd probably never admit if the system was tweaked. Makes you question every perfect number you see from then on, lol.

Ever wonder if the scale itself is programmed to round to nice numbers like that? Like maybe the factory software has a setting that makes it show 10,000 even if it was 9,998. Would they even tell you if it was fudged a little to look good for the bosses? Seems like the kind of thing management would love for the reports.
