My garlic press epiphany happened mid-crushing

I've been arguing for years that the garlic press is the absolute worst gadget in any kitchen, junk drawer material for sure. But last week my wife had me press 6 cloves for pasta sauce and I realized every single one came out clean with zero wasted garlic stuck in the holes, which never happened with my old cheap one. What model do you use that actually works without making you want to throw it out the window?

The cheap ones are garbage, a good press makes all the difference.

Feel you @nelson.vera, and @hannah320's right too, a solid press saves so much hassle.

Exactly. "Garbage" is right. I burned through three cheap ones before I learned my lesson. The frame bends on the first real squeeze, and then you're just mushing everything sideways.
