Reached 50 uses on my $3 dollar store veggie peeler and it still works like new
Picked up this bright orange peeler at a dollar store in Phoenix about 6 months ago, figured it would trash out in a week. I keep track of how many times I use things just out of curiosity, and I hit 50 uses last Tuesday on carrots, potatoes, even some tough butternut squash. My $20 OXO one from before started rusting around 30 uses, so now I'm wondering if cheap stuff is actually better for some tools. Anyone else been surprised by a dirt cheap gadget holding up way longer than the fancy version?
