Rant: My sister swore the garlic press was useless but I finally proved her wrong last Sunday
She told me to just mince garlic with a knife like a real cook, but after watching me crush 8 cloves in 10 seconds with that $12 press from Target she finally shut up about it, anyone else have a gadget your family hates on?

Man I feel you on this one @the_terry, it's like they'd rather watch you struggle for five minutes than admit a cheap gadget actually works. My sister still gives me side-eye about my salad spinner but she quit complaining after I made her wash lettuce the old way once.
