Pro tip: When my therapy app's journal sync kept failing, I found a workaround.
Switched to voice memos for daily check-ins until they fix the glitch.

Bit of an overreaction to a simple syncing issue, surely.

When my Outlook sync failed on Monday morning, I nearly lost a week of client meetings. It wasn't just a minor glitch, it threatened my entire work schedule. I immediately disconnected and reconnected my account through the web interface, which forced a fresh sync. That manual reset recovered about 90% of the events, and I had to manually recreate the rest. So calling it an overreaction ignores how disruptive these sync failures can be in real life! Now I set a calendar reminder to export my contacts every Friday, just in case.

Hey, but what if these sync problems are just user error most of the time? I see @oscar_henderson35's point about losing contacts, but shouldn't we expect a few bugs with free tools? My own Outlook hiccups now and then, but a simple restart or cache clear usually sorts it fast. Maybe folks are just too quick to blame the app instead of checking their own setup first.

Was in that camp too until a failed sync wiped my contacts. Now I'm way more understanding of the panic.
